One of my closest American friends is my agent Leslie Barany. Les is the kind of agent one dreams about: He knows how I function and understands my needs as an artist. Over the years, he has become a close and trusted confidant.

He moves among many worlds and, as a result, has introduced my work, over the years, to a unique range of people.

Leslie is my friend, agent, English editor, curator, art director, troubleshooter, legal advisor, photographer, and one of my collectors, all in one.  He is one of the most precise and correct people I know, and he is also painfully honest. As my dedicated advocate, he defends me so zealously that I almost have to apologize. He does it all with heart.

I can't imagine how it would be without him and our daily conversations. Due to the time difference and because he works late evenings, as I do, he is always there for me, even in the middle of the night.
