A TOTALLY NEW AND EXCITING WAY.EVERY TIME I LOOK IN ONE OF HIS BOOKS I GET THIS
NERVOUS/EXCITED FEELING.THESE FEELINGS GET ME TO REALLY CONCENTRATE ON PAINTING MY OWN
HORRORS THAT ARE NEAR EVERYDAY WHEN I GET UP TO WHEN I GO TO BED.I JUST WANT TO SHARE MY
APPRECIATION WITH HIM THAT SOMEONE ELSE OUT THERE MAKES MORE THAN JUST A LIVING ON
CREATING SUCH WORKS OF A MASTER.SO WHENEVER I FEEL DEPRESSED,WHICH IS QUITE OFTEN,I JUST
OPEN ONE OF HIS BOOKS AND I AM IN ANOTHER WORLD.THANK YOU GIGER,THANK YOU FOR SCARING THE

like to see what is really possible before I go under the needle myself! I notice from the
current UK FHM magazine cover fold-out that MTV's Davina McCall appears to have a
biomechanical on her butt. Check it out! P.S. Do you think some place in the universe
there is a world of biomechanical creatures where an artist creates images of Mickey Mouse
and Bambi, and everyone stands around saying stuff like "Oh that's just
perverse!" and "The man's a genius"? Probably. Nice site. It works.

have noticed that you design furniture, I looked at the pictures of your designes and I
think theyre great. Have you ever thought of designing clothing? leather jackets in
particular? In my humble opinion, I think a motorcycle-style leather jackets with your
designs would be an outstading way of marketing and displaying your artwork. I know that I
would buy one, and Im sure many people would too, ranging from celebrities to regular
people like me. This is just an idea, I am not in retail or any type of such business. All
I know is that I would be proud to wear an authentic H.R. Giger leather jacket.

I've bought 3 of your books: HR GIGER ARh+, GIGER'S ALIEN FILMDESIGN, and SPECIES DESIGN.
I will get more as I can afford them. I have bought all of the Alien movies, my favorite
being the first one. I have studied all available books & films on special effects. I
didn't know you were involved in Poltergeist II when I first saw that movie, until I saw
your creations IN the movie. I immediatly recognized your style. I started to get as much
information about your artwork as I could, & also have been learning how to sculpt
clay (actually Plastiline) in an attempt to copy your style. (I know it- you're thinking-
"Not ANOTHER copycat!") I would never copy your work & claim it as my own. I
can only hope to get close. I'm using your work as a standard to reach for. Eventually I
hope to work for Steve Johnson- translating your designs onto the screen. I think there
are a rare number of artists who can match your level of obsessive detail. I look at your
books using a magnifying glass! Well- I've got to get back to sculpting- I'm trying to
recreate the cover to GIGER'S ALIEN in 3D. I keep starting over- it never looks as good as
it is on your cover. I hope you actually get time to read these. I keep my mind wide open
for your work in Alien Resurrection & Species II Alien8

impressionable artists are adopting your style, not that there's anything wrong with

Comments: I've always enjoyed Mr. Giger's work, but the Alien creature
(xenomorph) in particular has grown into an obsession. So much so that I created a
'costume' for halloween several years ago out of foam rubber, wire hangers and an
assortment of fabrics, cord and wiring, complete with teeth made from FIMO polymer clay
and painted silver. Though certainly not nearly as streamlined and deadly looking, my
alien head was rather disturbing, especially after the weight of the head caused the
internal wiring to bend and the two halves of the head to sag almost to the point that
they rested on my back and my chest. Instead of making a body suit, I bought a prison
costume complete with a little prison cap (which went on the front of the xenomorphs
head)and was an 'illegal alien'. The head was later given to my best friend, with
instructions that she was to mount it on her wall like a hunting trophy.

Comments: I am an evolutionary psychologist, interested in the ultimate temporal
Mercenary, DNA and HR Gigers work is to me an investigation of DNA's capacity to
create/evolve a social context and structure, symbiotically with its own propagation. I
feel that his face of his work is an expression of pure genetic urge/design harmonious
with the environment of a different part of our galaxy. Will the continued frustration of
religion/philosophy/science to provide answers and guidance encourage people out of
frustration to explore the selfish gratification that, to me, this work embodies. I don't
think that that is a bad thing because all experience is priceless and all experience
intuitively belongs with our universe. I truly hope I can return at some stage and live in
the world this website embodies, in whatever form, although in some respects I think I am
already there. Here is a sample of my work, I hope it interests you, thanks. DARGO would
you care to dance? what if each of us were a battleground, staging a civil war of love
against loneliness? what if dna was the primal parasite within each of us, the luciferal
personification of greed and power, driving us to absorb and propagate, a ruthless
temporal mercenary? what if the soul was a splinter of divine consciousness anchored to
reality by the biological antenna built by the parasite? what if the present was where all
infinities collide, congruent worlds of overlaid fabric with stitches of mind for the
seams? what if life was the manifestation of a divine voyage, a voyage to explore the
boundaries of knowledge and love, and whose destiny was to realise the omnipotent and
inescapable need to love and be loved? what if each of us was a finger from a divine
consciousness, pushed through the edge of a reality bubble, an individual blade of
existence slicing the present into an individuals past? what if each of us were you, the
autobiographer of a story, unfolding one heartbeat at a time? what if everyday you had a
choice to be god or the devil? what if everyday you felt loved by those around you? what
if you felt you had been touched by the hand of god, would it matter what he looked like?
can love be any colour? dargo

Comments: The first time I saw Alien (the film) I felt that a second door to a
new way of lookin at the universe was opened (the first one I discovered through the works
of A. Crowley). But I did not realized then what was so enticing in that film. It was
later when I realized who is the creator of such dark, fantastic and yet illuminating
work, and that he is from my own point of view, the greatest living artist of our time.
But the ultimate point for me is that through his cosmovision I found a deep, mirrorlike
reflection of my anguishes and nightmares. Thus, without intending it, a kind of jungiang
therapy took place. And, thanks to it, I found -no exxageration- salvation and hope.
Thanks for it.
