Habra alguna posibilidad de continuar con Aliens, podra llegar nuestro monstruo favorito a la tierra; tambien tengo una critica con respecto a la segunda parte la que yo considero buena pero considero que se menoscabo la inteligencia de Aliens al poder destruir una gran cantidad de ellos a diferencia con la primera parte de la pelicula. pues un solo de ellos bastaria para liquidar toda una tripulación. I've been a fan of Giger's work ever since I was 15 years of age.I know this really doesn't mean anything to Giger himself but his works of art\awareness have kindled in me nothing but awe and revelation that I could never in all my non-existent life complete what he has (the reader does not understand as the writer does, I'm sure.) Just a few thoughts, or things I'd like to see... Do you feel the aliens intelligence was understated in the trilogy of movies? The pace of scenes involving alien activity should be slowed down in any future productions. We all know they're fast already! Would like to see more interaction between the "creatures" (i.e. communicating, building or plotting etc.) Unless we are supposed to preceive them just as "soldiers"; but even soldiers need to receive orders occasionally. Mr. Giger your conceptualization and illustration skills are fabulous! Hope to see your influence in other productions (possible computer?) in the future. HRGIGER: Hello. Being a long time fan of yours - close to twenty years, I think that it is cool that you have given the opportunity for others to correspond with you in just this such a way, unique. Your work, in some areas ( please excuse the optomism )is extremely well done and without compare. 'Li', 'Safari', and 'Landscape II', ( these but to just name a few ) are a testament ( subliminal, surrealism, expressionistic, Dali-like but with a much sharper edge ) to twenieth century art, where there has been a gap, a vaccum for quite some time. I can relate with your technique having used Polariod Manipulations to transform the ordinary into something grosteque but hauntingly interesting. I especially like the floor to your bar. The etchings are great ! Nothing short of it ! As if you didn't know, I think that your work would do well as a series of stamps, you know ? I think that it would be an interesting idea to toss around in your head. I don't know about Europe, but I think people over here would eat them up. Please continue to do, what you do so well, and let me know about any new books and/or any of your other books that are out of print, if they ever become available, again. Thanks alot ! I love Mr. Giger's work. I was first introduced to it because I'm a big ELP fan and bought Brain Salad Surgury when I was 16 years old. Since then I've told people about the man who inspired and drew tha alien. I'd like to own some actual art but alas I'm only a poor Civil Engineer and I doubt that I could afford to. I must say right up front that I love your work. In my mind, you are to art what H.P. Lovecraft and E.A. Poe are to literature. As a side note, I was wondering if you have considered doing artwork for collectable card games. These games are becoming increasingly popular (particularly "Magic: the Gathering"). Not only are the games enjoyable, but the cards are highly prized by collectors. Many talanted artists and illustrators have graced these cards with their artistry, and I would certainly love to see your name added to the list. In particular, your artwork is quite well suited to "Magic" cards (the black suite, of course), as well as the recently released card game based upon the works of Lovecraft (the name escapes me at the moment, but it is not called "Cthulu"). I do hope you consider it. I for one would love to add a few Gigers to my "Magic" collection.

Ever since I fell in love with the movie ALIENS I have been interested in your work. I was glad to see you continue in the movie field with Alien3 and Species, although, having read your Species Design book, I do understand your disappointment with the latter movie (the CGI Sil just didn't look right). I do hope this does not prevent you from further forays into the movie industry- glimpses of your work in this field are few and far between. If those who painted from religious devotion are to be called geniuses because they have so enraptured the hearts and souls of their fellow men, then you must also fall into this category. Gigers artwork is some of the best I've ever seen. I only wish I could get ahold of some upbeat Giger artwork. Dear Mr. Giger, I have loved your work since I first saw some of it on the Discovery channel. Your unique style is very thought provocing. The only real complaint (other than being exspensive) is sometimes itis hard to tell what it is in the pictures you do not paint. I recently bought your game Darkseed and while it has great art work it is really frustrating and doesn't seem to work right. I was thinking of purchasing some of your art work, but there prices are way to steep for me (being a kid and all). I like to spend some of my free time drawing and I am starting to get better, but I still have trouble drawing feet so I find a way to leave them out or hide them with other objects in the picture. As an artist in training I found this web page to be quite disapointing. Judging from the poor design I'm assuming that HR Giger didn't have much input into this project. What's happened to the artist that I had so wished to be like. When's the last time Hans Rudi actually did an airbrush painting, 1980's? I understand how artists make their livings but lately it seems to be a poor effort. In the past I would've gladly payed my $70 for one of his books, which might as well be $1000 to an art student. Just to make it clear I'm not some punk-ass kid that saw the danzig cover when I was in high school. I consider myself a fellow artist; not because I own a airbrush(Iwata not some crappy Badger) but because I make a living by my trade. Giger to me is what Dali was to Giger and Venosa and this latest trend is disapionting.
